About us

Ola!

We’re Ariel & Ronny—one from New York, the other from São Paulo—brought together by a love for food and curiosity. On trips to Brazil, we kept wondering:

Why don’t Americans know about all these amazing superfoods?

Then, we discovered Cupuaçu (Coo-Poo-Ah-Soo)—a superfood with seeds that can be transformed into a chocolate-like treat. With the cocoa crisis looming, we saw an opportunity: a delicious, clean-ingredient bar that supports farmers, biodiversity, and the planet.

We teamed up with world-renowned chocolate maker Luisa Abram to create a bar so delicious that top chefs at Google and the José Andrés group have taste-tested it—so believe us when we say, as Brazilians do, it’s muito bom!

In Brazil, ‘Fazer Figa’ means to bring good luck. We hope Figa Bars bring that same Brazilian warmth, joy and curiosity to every bite.
